Features
Everything a school runs on, in one platform
Nuxused is not a collection of separate tools bolted together. Every module reads the same student, staff and academic records, which is why enrolling a student once is enough for attendance, results, homework and the fee ledger to be correct.
The modules at a glance
Students & enrolment
Admissions, student records, guardians, class and section assignment, and enrolment across the academic year.
Staff & HR
Teacher and staff records, roles and permissions, class-teacher assignment, subject allocation and payroll inputs.
Academics & timetable
Academic years, class levels, subjects, sections, the class–subject map and a period-based bell schedule.
Attendance
Daily and period attendance driven by the timetable, with the summaries and roll-ups schools report on.
Examinations & results
Exam planning, sessions, marks entry, configurable grading schemes, results and report cards.
Fees & finance
Fee categories and structures per class level, invoicing, collection, outstanding dues and financial reporting.
Learning & homework
Class tasks, submissions, class and weekly notes, study materials and the monthly agenda.
Communication
Announcements, notifications, parent-teacher meetings, complaints and certificate requests.
Students, guardians and enrolment
Admissions through to alumni. Student records with guardians attached, class and section assignment, enrolment across academic years, transfers between sections, health records, documents and certificate requests. A student is created once and every other module reads that record.
- Admissions and student profiles
- Guardian links and family contact
- Class, section and roll number assignment
- Health records, documents and certificates
Staff, roles and HR
Teaching and non-teaching staff with their own records, employment details and documents. Roles carry granular permissions, so a class teacher, a subject teacher, an accountant and a principal each see a different school. Leave, attendance and payroll inputs sit alongside.
- Staff records and employment history
- Granular role-based permissions
- Class-teacher and subject allocation
- Staff leave and payroll inputs
Academics and timetable
Academic years, terms, class levels, sections, subjects and the class–subject map that ties them together. On top of it sits a period-based timetable with a bell schedule, room and teacher allocation, and clash detection.
- Academic years and terms
- Class levels, sections and subjects
- Period-based timetable and bell schedule
- Teacher and room allocation
Attendance
Daily attendance and period attendance, both driven by the live timetable so a teacher opens the right roster without choosing anything. Summaries roll up per student, section, class and date range for the reports schools actually have to file.
- Daily and period attendance
- Pre-loaded rosters from the timetable
- Per-student and per-class summaries
- Leave requests and approvals
Examinations and results
Exam planning, exam sessions per subject, marks entry against the schedule, configurable grading schemes, results and report cards. Marks entered by a teacher on the phone and marks entered on the dashboard are the same record.
- Exam planning and schedules
- Marks entry, subject by subject
- Configurable grading schemes
- Results and printable report cards
Fees and finance
Fee categories and structures defined per class level, invoice generation, payment collection, receipts, outstanding dues and the reporting a bursar needs. Expenses and payroll sit in the same ledger so the school’s position is one number, not three spreadsheets.
- Fee categories and per-class structures
- Invoicing, collection and receipts
- Outstanding dues and reminders
- Expenses, payroll and reporting
Learning, homework and notes
Class tasks with due dates and attachments, student submissions, class and weekly notes, study materials shared to a section, and a monthly agenda that merges classes, exams and events into one calendar.
- Class tasks and submissions
- Class notes and weekly notes
- Study materials per section
- Monthly agenda across classes and events
Communication
School announcements, event publishing with RSVP, parent-teacher meeting slots and bookings, complaints raised by families and tracked to resolution, and email and SMS notifications triggered by what happens in the system.
